One of my friends down here in Texas is pregnant and Saturday was her baby shower. She is about eight months along and maybe weighs more than I do (finally). It is really disheartening to know a pregnant woman who weighs less than you. Sometimes life is just not fair! 
I had a great time organizing and co-hosting the shower…it is always fun to have an excuse to go shopping but when its baby shopping, it is the icing on the cake. Speaking of cake, check out this great cake made by her sister:
Everyone put so much thought and effort into the shower to make it special for both mom and baby. I certainly hope Hanh enjoyed the day and savored each moment because time flew by so fast. And, speaking of time, before you know it, baby will be here and we will all finally know the gender. Personally, I am secretly rooting for a baby girl; imagine all the shopping we can do! Don’t get me wrong; if it is a boy, we’ll still go shopping. He will just learn early about the importance of finding a great pair of shoes.
